As a general rule, you should consume between 1/2 to 1 ounce of water per pound of body weight per day.

Hard, dry stools are a classic sign of dehydration.

Water is critical because it’s involved in every bodily function including waste elimination.

Tip: Drink your water (or any liquid) 45 minutes to 1 hour before and after consuming foods to avoid washing away the natural digestive enzymes produced by your stomach. Proper digestion is a huge part of moving your bowels.

2)) Consume Wheat Grass to Restore Consistency

A quick way to become regular is to add some wheat or barley grass to your daily dietary routine.

All you have to do is mix two to three teaspoons of a nutrient-rich blend of dehydrated wheat and/or barley grass in water and have another serving later in the day.

So, from this day forward, I highly recommend that you embrace prunes to take advantage of their positive effects on your digestive system.

4)) Vitamin C Boost Nutrient Absorption

Remember, the more you can improve your digestive capabilities, the more frequent bowel movements you’ll have.

Eating healthy is one thing, but your body must break down those foods and absorb the nutrients in order to make them available to your system.

You’re in luck because Vitamin C-rich foods can help with food and nutrient absorption.

It’s easier than you may think to incorporate Vitamin C into your diet by including foods such as parsley, broccoli, bell pepper, strawberries, oranges, lemon juice, papaya, cauliflower, kale, mustard greens, Brussels sprouts, and many more.

After you have a list of those superfoods, begin including them in your daily diet.
